2009 Pickle Eating Contest
Our first Pickle Eating contest was great fun, so it has become an annual event! Sponsored by 'The Pickle Place' on row P-South and the Daytona Flea & Farmer's Market. There were pickle eating categories for all ages with prizes ranging from $15 to $35 in flea bucks and trophies for the best eaters! Freedom Field Public Art Event
Freedom Field, June 26 - July 4, 2009. Local artists and creative citizens create their own flags expressing their appreciation of American freedoms. The market was proud to sponsor this event, along with coordinator, artist Margaret Schnebly Hodge.

Halloween 2009
Highlights from our Spooktacular Halloween 2009. This year's event included a semi-haunted house hosted by B&S Produce, the market-wide scavenger hunt for prizes and a costume contest for the kids, with flea bucks for the winners!

Watermelon Eating Contest 2010
The first ever watermelon eating contest was held at B & S Produce on row P-South on Sunday, July 25th. With dozens of participants, local photographer, Joan Robinson, was able to catch some great pictures. Our thanks to B & S Produce and Joan Robinson.
